Been listening to last few records from Eighteen Visions.

Eighteen Visions: 18V
Eighteen Visions: XVIII
Eighteen Visions: Obsession
Eighteen Visions: Vanity

Eighteen V prob one of my fav heavy bands to come out in last 15 yrs or so. Pretty diverse band. Def super heavy metal most of the time, but with strong punk and 80s hair influences. Songs range from screaming metal core to 80s sounding glam rock with all clean vocals. Here are two examples of  how different they can sound:

Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols. -  Just got this on vinyl. It's been a while since I listened to this. I was afraid that it would no longer move me. No chance! This is one of the fiercest,  purest rock albums I've ever heard. The production makes the guitars sound like well-sharpened knives. Fantastic!

Mord

The Kinks - The Ultimate Collection.
44 tracks on 2 cds, most of them klassic. This covers their entire career, from 1964 to 1984. Two hours and twenty minutes of sheer bliss.
