I have the same problem, Geezer. My girlfriend does not like my music. I still managed to get a vinyl and cd collection, but I can only play them while she's out. It is HER house. I remember sticking the Grinderman cd into the car player. As it kicks in, she turns to me and says "I really worry about you sometimes".

LMAO! Lucky our lady friends don't compare notes
All kidding aside, sounds like three of us are pretty lucky dudes overall.

Rest in Peace Ronnie James Dio. Been 10 yrs since he passed away.

Yesterday I listened to

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow (1975)
Rainbow: Rising (1976)
Rainbow: On Stage (1977)
Rainbow: Long Live Rock n Roll (1978)

Total bull$*it he's not in rock n roll hall of fame. Vivian Campbell played lead guitar on first three Dio solo records. Campbell was inducted in the Hall as part of Def Leppard. He's a very good guitar player, but that's complete FBS he's in the hall and not RJD.  >:(

There are many deserving bands that get ignored, while bland, non rock acts get in. Dude, how is it Nick Cave isn't in after 40 plus years of groundbreaking music?

OMG, great example Mord. It's insane Nick Cave is not in the Hall. Look at some of the artists and bands who have covered Nick Cave: Johnny Cash, Iggy Pop, Metallica . . . IDK does that seem influential to you?  I mean it's a joke. PJ Harvey, Jack White, and Red Hot Chili Peppers among others influenced by Nick Cave. Phil Anselmo from Pantera cites Nick as big influence. Take a look at my examples. That's a pretty wide variety of substantial artists and bands from different genres and sub-genres. Yeah, I would say the dude is influential.
