Calabrese. About ten years a band I was in,  played with them in Tempe, Arizona. Interesting band. I think the reason my band were able to play with them, was our theme ( Midnight Feature) at the time. We were a Punk/Goth/Surf band, with Horror-Punk rock overtones.

That sounds right up my alley!

Jackie Brown Soundtrack-
Great music from a fantastic film.

 The Modern Lovers (1976) -
One of the greatest proto-punk bands ever. This debut album was produced by The Velvet Underground's John Cale and featured the Talking Head's Jerry Harrison, The Cars' David Robinson and brilliant singer-songwriter, Jonathan Richman. Every song is classic, with "Rosdrunner" and "Pablo Picasso" as particular standouts. It finally got rereleased  on spectacular silver vinyl. Highly recommended.

I've been taking a dive into Northern Soul lately, makes it impossible to stand still.

Mott the Hoople - Mott
I haven't listened to this in ages. Great band from the age of Bowie. It holds up well.

It's a very good album! It was their 4th album and the last album on the "Wooden Nickel" label, before they went with A&M. The first 4 are available on a two-disc set.
