Hellboy. I'm a huge Mignola fan.

Monster Bob

My avatar is borrowed from a 1972 FM ('Lugosi' issue), when I was lucky enough to appear in Famous Monsters' "WANTED!" section in the back of the mag.

My Nom de Guerre is the headshot of the wax figure of T.E.Lawrence used on the Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band group photo. Likewise for "Meek" which comes from the George Bernard Shaw play "Too True To Be Good". I have a long standing interest(some 30 years now)in T.E.Lawrence and have over 80 books by or about him--a new old volume arrived t'other day and my overflow bookshelf for said collection is now full.

I have a avatar I put on my yuku info.

This isn't a Yuku board, so nothing you do there will have any effect here.

Go to your UMA Profile. Under "Modify Profile" click on "Forum Profile Information", check the box for "I have my own pic:" and add the pic's URL (URL should end in .jpg. or .gif), then click on "Change profile".

If you don't want you avatar to be distorted, it should be trimmed to a square. You should check to see what your pic will look like at 100x100 pxls before using it. If you need a place to host your photo, http://imageshack.us/ is a good one.

My avatar is (for now...) my portrait of Karloff and Lugosi from a Scary Monsters cover illustration.

CreepyJeff

My avatar is a morph of my mug into Lon Chaney's London  After Midnight vampire character (courtesy of my brother Jim).

Creepy Jeff (my name is obvious)

Easy to tell who mine is--Boris Karloff, the king!  From a 1968 LIFE magazine cover, when Karloff was old--and I'm not so young myself any more!  The quote under the avatar is Boris's, and it could well have been said by most of us monster kids!

My "name" here, typhooforme, refers to Peter Cushing--that was the brand of tea he used at home, Ty-Phoo!

And as regards friend Creepy Jeff, above--yep, he's creepy, all right!  That's why I like havin' him as a friend.  The creepier the better, ya know!

Mine is the illustration I did for the Polar Lights Wolf Man kit - it was my first assignment for them and holds a special place in my heart.
Plus I just like the Wolf Man!

Toy Ranch

My avatar is an image from the stage play poster for Dracula, which starred Bela Lugosi and led to his movie role.

Here's the rest of it:

I don't own an original or anything, just like the graphic.

This is the program from the show.

Bobby did you happen to pick up a a pair of the Target PJs with that image? (More X-one-X work)

Gary D Macabre

No real story here, this is my costume from last Halloween.  It sat out in the yard for a week and a half prior to get the local children accustomed to it before I donned it and took it's place.

Gary: How insidious----I like that in a person.

And just how many of the kiddies wet themselves when you moved?

Probably on the obvious end, but mine is Ernest Thesigerr as Dr. Pretorius from THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN.  I'm actually getting tired of it and will change once I get the chance to find something better.

No, I saw them, but they didn't have my size, and I'm not a PJ collector :D
