BRYAN SINGER is directing the pilot. I'm surprised the whole cast isn't sporting black leather.
Oh joy, I can't wait to see The Munsters reimagined by the guy who turned Superman into a selfish cowardly deadbeat dad.  ::)

Even worse, he made a BORING "Superman" movie!

So, I know a few people have said that it more resembles the Addams Family now (since they just appear more gothic than monstrous) and that is certainly so. I showed my uncle the picture and he said "I think that looks cool, especially Uncle Fester there". :P So... there we go.

Portia di Rossi's Lily definitely has more of a Morticia Addams vibe going on in that photo. And Eddie Izzard definitely would make a better Fester Addams. Oh well, it won't be too long before we get that stop-motion Addams Family movie...from...Tim Burton.

I always figured it was the two crummy "Oh, God!" sequels. (By the way, if you ever get a chance to read the original novel, "Oh, God!," it's 10x funnier than the movie!)

Unfortunately, "Addams Family Reunion" isn't listed on videoscopemag.com's alphabetical list of movie reviews, so I have no idea which issue to even look for it in. I know I pretty much savaged it. Tim Curry actually was a pretty good casting choice for Gomez, but he just phoned it in, unfortunately. Darryl Hannah was just simply dreadful. It's like she was heavily sedated or something-- ALLEDGEDLY!

Much of my trouble with Saban's "Addams Family Reunion", had to do with the plot and writing, more so then with the casting.  Of course, Saban can make Asylum look good at times.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Yeah, the writing was awful. The whole thing started life as the third Addams Family feature film, then Raoul Julia passed away and it was abandoned. Then it was revived by Saban.

I can't believe that what we got from Saban resembled in any way shape and form resembled what Raul Julia would have starred in.  It was so bad, it was if the guy who made that lousy Superman film a couple years back had come in and made it.

Saban extensively rewrote it to make it cheaper. Of course.

And, what's the point of having Marilyn look like she just walked off the set of the original '60s series? Is that the one bone they're throwing fans?

If you look at the clothes "Herman" is wearing, it appears that this is set in the 1960s.
