Early this morning I watched "C.H.U.D." for the first time in many years. It wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being ;) Yesterday I watched a couple of James Cagney gangster films I've been meaning to get to for awhile. I only mention them because one of them, "The Public Enemy", featured small roles for two Universal veterans, Mae "Frankenstein" Clark and Snitz "Phantom of the Opera" Edwards. Mae's the unfortunate victim of a grapefruit assault in this one.

Long live the UMA!

Yesterday I took my daughter to see "Up", which contains a nice homage to the silent "The Lost World". Last night we had movie night at my friend's house, and we watched "Flash Gordon" and "My Name is Bruce". That Bruce Campbell is a funny guy ;)
