Watched "The Catman of Paris" on YouTube.

I think it's one of Republic's best horror/mystery/thriller features. More like a good 40's Universal film. It does, however, suffer the all-too-common problem of giving away the identity of the bad guy from the casting.

The Thing from Another World.  Another film I hadn't seen before.  Creepy, scary and well paced for a film from that era.  It was far more intelligent than other monster films made at that time.  Matt Dillon, okay.
