The Devil's Nightmare(1971)
I love this movie. It's like remembering a very pleasant dream. Comfort food for the mind.

Erika Blanc's showcase.

Absolutely! The blu ray is fantastic for this.

The Devil's Nightmare looks great on bluray.  The VHS, not so much.

Totally agree. Mondo Macabro is top notch.

Full extended European version, Troy Howarth commentary, interviews, trailers, etc. MM gave us the best The Devil's Nightmare ever.

Shirley Corrigan was very striking in this too. (Just watched Dr. Jekyll And The Wolfman with her in it.  ;))

I've gotten more selective about what I upgrade to Blu-ray these days since my monster money is spread around for much more than DVD/BDs, but The Devil's Nightmare was a must for me to upgrade. It's a pretty good deal to pick up now as well, less than $20 with tax on Amazon with the free shipping. No brainer for Eurohorror fans.

Agreed! This is the edition that I have as well and it was well worth the price for the upgraded picture and the extras.

Monster Zero (1970) (aka Invasion Of Astro-Monster (1965))

When I was a kid my Dad took me to see Monster Zero in the theater when it released in 1970. It was a double feature with War Of The Gargantuas. I loved it even though I had a bad cold at the time. I remember us stopping on the way home at Shoney's Big Boy restaurant for a bowl of chili. Great memories.
