Mord

Escape from L.A. (1999) -
Silly but fun. The problem with movies set in the "future" (in this case 2013), is that the real future eventually gets here.

The Terminator, 1984 - A computer named Skynet misinterprets its programing and freneticism ensues.

Features future California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It had been a very long time since I had viewed this movie.  I had forgotten just how good it was - and how we had enjoyed talking about seeing it the next day at work.

Damn good watchin'.

I always thought of this as the best of the series. T2 was flashier, but this one set the suspense level at eleven (Spinal Tap level). I feel the same way about the first "Alien".

Mord

 Bad Girl (2016) -
Parents move their adopted teenage daughter to the country after some legal difficulties. They hire a local girl to do the housecleaning. One thing leads to another (lesbian affair, car theft, vandalism, etc.). The sweet new friend might have some dark secrets. Completely satisfying thriller with many twists and turns. Excellent musical score by Bad Seed, Warren Ellis (Geezer, you should check out the soundtrack...totally up your alley).

The plot seems cool, Mord. I will definitely check-out this flick.
