Monsters For Sale

Tremors, 1990 - Because someone else posted it here.

Tarantula, 1955 - Because I wanted more desert-based horror.  Watched it straight and again with the Tom Weaver commentary. (One of his better efforts, I thought.)

 Crawl (2019) -

After not hearing from her father, a young woman goes to his home to find out why. The problem...a dangerous hurricane is about to hit. She finds her dad alive and unconscious in his basement. With the water rising everywhere, she has to find a way of getting him (and his dog) to safety. Did I mention there are huge alligators all around? I found this one pretty exciting from start to finish. If you like "nature gone wild" horror, this one's for you.

BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA (1992)

I just realized that "Crawl" director, Alexandre Aja, also directed the Piranha remake. Someone to keep an eye on.

Piranha. I cannot even consider that film good. Ugh. But Evil Dead was a really good remake.

Funny, I feel the exact opposite. You didnt even like all the full-frontal nudity? Most of those girls are ridiculously hot. I loved it when Jerry O'Connell's penis became fish food. He was a total dick in the movie. He then became a dickless dick.

Not my scene. The two on his boat(O'Connell) were ugly hags. The other Woman, who is a friend of the Cop's son was cute. Most of the extras, well, again not my scene. Bunch of douchbags. Typical Summer-breakers. Yeah....bouncing a**es are nice. However, it isn't attractive to me to see half-drunk sluts showing their butts to everyone for attention. Jess Franco, shot his films with class. Believe me! I dig nude Women. Just not those kind in the film, Piranha.

That's ok. You're more  discerning than I am. I like em all (collegiate types, goth girls, and outright sluts).  The girls in the Illsa, wicked warden shower fight, were a lot classier.

It's all subjective. But, yeah! Ilsa and naked Women in any Franco, Russ Meyer, Corman or Andy Milligan film are WAY classier. Lol!🤡⚡🤟

Mike...In 3-D!

I don't want to be the bad guy here, but Alexandre Aja didn't do Don't Breathe and Evil Dead, that was Fede Alvarez.

You're not the bad guy, just the fact checker. I don't know how I got the two mixed up. Sorry. Thanks for the info.  I guess Aja is more of a low budget water-logged guy.

I actually like Piranha remake too. The characters were totally obnoxious but I think that was the point. It was extremely satisfying, for example, to watch Eli Roth's character decapitated by the boat. I think it was classic example of karma in horror films. Just like earlier slasher films, the characters who are jerks end up paying for it in the worst way.

In terms of the ladies on the boat, that's a matter of taste   ;)
