I thought it was interesting.  Different for a full-length movie.

Of course, the nostalgia factor adds a lot to my feelings for it.

The music was good.

I'm a big Rozsa fan. I love those creepy sounding hammered dulcimers!

Lunkenstein

SISTERS (1973) - cool film. I first saw this at a drive-in back in '73 and once or maybe twice since, but not for a long time. Boy, Margot Kidder was great in this.

The Fury, 1978 - The government is grooming young people with telekinetic ability for military black ops.  The aim is to develop their powers to incredible levels.  Sounds perfectly harmless, right?

Kirk Douglas, John Cassavetes, Carrie Snodgrass, Charles Durning and Amy Irving.

Good cast and equally good acting.

This movie was a lot better than I remembered.  All I recalled from my only theatrical viewing was the two most outstanding special effects.  Completely forgot that there is a decent plot, too.

I thought it was a little over the top, even for DePalma. His "Carrie" was a better take on the subject, IMO. Great John Williams score, though!  :)
