Oh man, I'd like to see this again for several reasons.

First, I only saw it once at a drive-in back in the '70s but have fond memories of being grossed out at the premise of the experiments.

Second, I've always liked Richard Basehart.  When I met my wife in 1978, she had been doing local theater and once appeared in a play with him.

Third, I always liked Gloria Grahame too.  She was in a great OUTER LIMITS episode called 'The Guests'.

So even if the film wasn't all that good, I still want to revisit it.
I like it.

*Big fan of Blade Runner, but thought the sequel was rather ponderous.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers, 1956 - Everybody knows this one.

The new BLU-Ray looks great and offers a few more bonus features, most of which repeat information provided in the earlier bonus material - also included.

I like the new correct 2:1 format.  Not as squeezed as the previous DVD 2.35:1.

One of the outstanding movies that multiple viewings doesn't diminish.  Still as good as it was when I saw it in the theater back in 1956.

The Power, 1968 - Battle of the minds- with drastic results.

George Hamilton, Suzanne Pleshette, Richard Carlson, Yvonne De Carlo, Ear Holliman, Gary Merrill, Ken Murray, Barbara Nichols, Michael Rennie and Miss Beverly Hills.  (How's that for a cast?)

First time watching this one.  I saw it mentioned in an earlier post here - Thanks whoever brought it up.

That's surprising, being that it's a Pal movie! What did you think of the movie? How about Rozsa's score?

I thought it was interesting.  Different for a full-length movie.  The plot was the kind of thing that would be used for a TV episode.  A nice selection of name actors.  Today's movies have one or two well-known names and the rest cheaper hires.

The music was good.  Appropriate to the action.  I was repackaging new acquisitions in slim cases, so I didn't give it my full attention.
