The First Purge -  Total crap (and I like the series a bit)

I just don't see any civilized society thinking that would be a good idea.

The way things are going, I could totally see this happening. The division is so great in our country. I'm sure there are many people we walk past everyday that would love a chance to "purge". This film was just too simplistic...white people are all bad. There was not one sympathetic character of any race. I was rooting for everyone to die, as the minutes slowly clicked by. Bad acting and zero nudity put the nail in the coffin, for me.

The Fly(1958)
Voyage To the Bottom Of the Sea(1961)
Frankenstein Conquers the World(1965)
The Alligator People(1959)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

The Purge was an awful film. Not because of the acting. Because
the Protagonist of the film, did not convey and type of leadership.
Or did I miss something about the entire narrative of the film.

I could see a spontaneous thing, maybe, but not a gov. organized thing.

Are you talking about the new Purge or the Ethan Hawke original? The original was ok, but this new one is a total mess in every way. What a waste of Marissa Tomei.

Lunkenstein

THE BLOB (1958)
I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE (1958)

Both viewings at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixeville,PA during Blobfest Saturday night.

Also at Blobfest, saw DAUGHTER OF HORROR (1955) at their Midnight Spook Show at 4:30pm, lol!

Stay away from the new one. It makes that one look like "Bride of Frankenstein", By comparrison.

If I was watching DAUGHTER OF HORROR at the Colonial, I'd be keeping an eye out on the projection booth, just in case!

I watched "Pontypool" once and fell asleep. Is it worth a rewatch?
