IT (1990)

Didn't like it as much as Salem's Lot, but it was fine.  Definitely felt restrained by TV and budget stuff.

That's enough 3+ hour stuff for a while, I think.  Woof.

The Devil's Rain, 1975 - Satanists run rampant in a western ghost town.  Why?  I never did find out.

For some unknown reason (at least to me) Satanists set up headquarters in a New England church inside an obviously newly-built "ghost town".  The town is constructed of salvaged lumber but shows no weathering at all, and the streets are free of weeds or trash of any sort.

Stars Ernest Borgnine, Eddie Albert, Ida Lupino, William Shatner, Keenan Wynn, Tom Skerritt and John Travolta.  I don't know if I bought this because it had such a well-known cast, or if I was misled by whatever description I read about the story, but I never made it all the way to the end.  This was one of those rare films that I did not watch all the way through.

Not for me.

I even tried the Director Commentary, but the Director is evidently elderly and his memory is vague and his speech is halting and disjointed.  Makes for difficult listening.

If you ARE a fan of this film and do not have a Blu-Ray,  send me your address and I'll mail you mine; it has lots of extras.  NOTE:  I already trimmed the paper wrapper and placed this in a 7mm slim case.
