I got home from work last night and my 9 year old daughter was absolutely spellbound watching Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941) on TV. I watched the last 3/4 of it with her and my son joined in.

IMDb "Trivia": Robert Duvall, who had previously worked with Philip Kaufman on The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid (1972), happened to be in San Francisco at the time of filming, and shot his only scene for free.

I actually read that after I watched the movie.  I thought it was funny that the camera emphasized his being there, only for nothing to happen.  Not to mention being in full priest gear and on a swingset.  It was a very strange cameo.

I just watched The Black Scorpion for the first time, and loved it!! The stop-motion was terrific. The bluray was beautiful.
