Jigsaw~This one should please any fan of the franchise; I know I've enjoyed them all so far.

Psycho II, 1983 -  The sequel so many wished had never been made.  I think it is sorely underrated even today.

I loved it in the theater on opening day.  The follow-up was so long coming, I was one of only a few in the youngish audience who gave an involuntary spurt of applause when the Maestro briefly appeared in shadow form in his mother's room.  Loved the end.  (I was prompted to re-watch this when I thought remembered that the recently used quote, "We all go a little mad sometimes", was in it as well as the original.  I was right.

Psycho III, 1986 -  Better than I remembered.  Not at all bad for a second sequel.

Certainly the loosey-goosey morals would enrage our boy once again.  The wayward nun provided a credible victim that would not be missed.

Psycho IV, 1990 -  A bold experiment that has much in common with "Bates Motel", the series.

Not completely successful, but not all that bad, having seen what was eventually done on the tube.  At least no drug cartel involvement.  Never could figure why young Norman killed the MILF that wanted him.  He could have played mommy/baby with her all he wanted.  (I would have - but then we would have had a whole different movie with a whole different rating.)

I truly love the PSYCHO sequels too, with PSYCHO II being my favorite. What a haunting and beautifully sad score by Jerry Goldsmith!  And Anthony Perkins is so enjoyable in all the films. I have the original PSYCHO on Blu-ray and the 3 sequels in a small set.  Do you have that set too, Adam? I remember getting it quite reasonably.

I bought Psycho II as a single disc DVD.  Then I found what is probably the same set, Psycho II on one disc and III and IV on a 2nd disc.  They were dirt cheap - practically giving them away.

I love Psycho 2 and liked 3, wasn't keen on 4

I watched 'I Am Not a Serial Killer' the other day. I recommend watching it without reading any reviews or synopsis...it takes an unexpected turn. An odd little movie with some solid performances and it features Christopher Lloyd, which is always a bonus!

Yep, that's the set.  Checked Amazon and it's still just 9.97. Great bargain!

The Eyes of My Mother (2016)~a rather slow but interesting film
Alien: Covenant (2017)~Decent follow up to Prometheus.  I think Ridley listened to his audience and added a little more Xenomorph love.

RE: Psycho 2,3 & 4 set.

I think I got mine at a Big Lots for only $5.00.  (Years ago)

Couldn't pass it up - even though I already had Psycho II.

I've gotten some great movies at Big Lots too for next to nothing.  I usually check them every couple months.
