In the Mouth of Madness, 1994 - Lovecraft-inspired movie directed by John Carpenter.  Star Sam Neill does believable job of appearing stark raving banana crackers.

Director's Commentary was disappointing.  They talked almost exclusively about lighting set ups and camera lenses.

I miss the quality of commentaries Carpenter did with Debra Hill.  Between the two of them, their commentaries were informative and interesting.  Especially love the commentaries they did for "Halloween" and "The Fog".

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Repeat Performance, 1947 - Minutes after New Year's, Joan Leslie shoots hubby Louis Hayward to death.  Immediately filled with regret, she wishes out loud that she could go back in time and live 1946 all over gain.  Somehow (never explained), she is granted her wish and the main story of the movie begins.

Avoid this one.  It is one of those weepy romance movies that contains lots of wringing of hands and unrequited love.  Worse yet, it concerns an entire cast of unsympathetic, alcoholic New York playwrights and actors who is each convinced their personal desires are the only topic worthy of consideration.

So hard to enjoy a movie where there is no one to root for.

Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers-1988
Gunnar Hansen and the hottest chick's of their era. Who could resist this?

LugosiFan25

The Golden Arrow (1962) - pretty cool little sword and sandal/fantasy flick with Tab Hunter.
"....flying saucers? You mean the kind from up there?"

Mord

Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS - That's about as good as you get for 70's sexploitation. Still outrageous to this day. I'm watching the other 3 next.

Fantastic stuff!  Nothing like the first one to remind you that all households are safer with fire extinguishers at the ready.😬

It's even better on Blu ray. :)

Fetching Cody, 2005 - Canadian low budget independent film.  The story of a young down-and-out street couple.  She dies.

The guy discovers an unlikely time machine and tries to go back before things went wrong in an attempt to rescue her.  He finds her life is a little more complicated than he imagined and has to make several trips.

Not much of a sci-fi time-travel movie.  But an interesting having-to-come-to-terms-with-some-harsh-realities tale - with an interesting final resolution.

Ultimately, I am glad I watched this one.

Nice to hear. I read your posts on this thread to get ideas what to watch, too. If we're ever in the same city, we've got to have a movie party. "It Follows" plus a second feature (your pick, of course. Btw, do you know if the ILSA films are available on bluray? Maybe Memph would know.
