One of the best exploitation films ever!  :)

I totally agree, Memphremagog. The ending, so awesome!
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

The Hobbit (1977, animated). Give me this over PJ's bloated trilogy any day. I like his LOTR, though.
London After Midnight, reconstruction.
Totally agree, Lundy! PJ's Hobbit (x3) falls a little flat for me, but I think his LOTR is a modern day classic.

I've always loved the Rankin/Bass shows. The Hobbit is fun, and their Return Of The King is very good as well. The Rankin/Bass Return Of The King finishes off the excellent Bakshi The Lord Of The Rings. Great classic animation.

On a similar note Frazetta fans should seek out Fire And Ice (1983). Man, that's some good stuff! I have it on the Blue Underground DVD with the Frazetta documentary Painting With Fire. The doc also has some comments by the late, great, Bernie Wrightson telling of Frank's influence on his own fantastic art.
