The Philadelphia Experiment, 1980 - When I first saw this in the theater we got to the point where the old woman sees herself and her unchanged friend of many years ago in the mirror at the same time , and the film froze and burned up!  The audience members were given refunds, passes and allowed to see anything else currently playing.
