What did you think of Shock 'Em Dead?

It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but I thought it was fun. It definitely had enough to it to warrant going back to it in the future.

I definitely agree. I remember first seeing the film on DVD. Although the acting and special FX aren't wonderful. The film has a cult classic 80s charm.

Angel Bianchi... Angel Neri (1970) (aka White Angel... Black Angel)

A Mondo style documentary (much of it is obviously directed) dealing with different religious rites throughout the world, and focusing on Satan worship. This is the uncut Italian version narrated by Edmund Purdom with a pretty cool musical score. An edited version was released called Witchcraft '70. This original version was rated X, but there isn't any sex or eroticism, just lots of nudity. Also, there are instances of graphic animal sacrifice in the performance of the Satanic rituals. It isn't really a rough film apart from the animal killings. It also shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's really more of an interesting curiosity from a time when censorship laws were becoming liberal and filmmakers were pushing the envelope to make movies profitable. I was born in '59 so I was at an age in the late '60s and early '70s when these wild (for the time) movies were very exciting and were seen to be somewhat forbidden fruit. I cherish those times of growing up a Monsterkid and find movies from that period of great interest.. and fun.  ;)

Most Horrible

The Black Camel (1931)

Just finished watching Mr. Moto movies and decided to watch Charlie Chan with Warner Oland . I've never seen any that I can remember. Ok, it isn't a horror movie BUT I was surprised to see Bela Lugosi and Dwight Frye in a murder mystery and in Honolulu!

Boris Karloff is in "Charlie Chan At the Opera", too.

Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III Unrated Version.

The unrated version made a difference. Enjoyed it much more now then when it was initially released.

Good choices, but I thought you were in the mood for a Texas Chainsaw film. Actually, the last film, "Texas Chainsaw", was pretty decent.
