Jessica Jones (Season 1)~I found Daredevil was rather hit or miss episode to episode but Jessica Jones drew me in and compelled me to binge watch.  Hopefully Daredevil finds some steady ground in Season 2; the addition of Punisher will hopefully help that out.

The Marvel "Daredevil"? Never knew there was a series with that character. What cable channel is it on?

Never heard of Jessica Jones, either.

Netflix, these are all part of the wider Marvel cinematic universe with references to the alien attack (from Avengers) as well as references to "the green guy", "flag waver", etc....not sure why they aren't using the actual names; they started with Daredevil then the Jessica Jones series, Luke Cage and then Iron Fist.  This will all lead to them becoming a team in a Defenders movie/show.  Currently Daredevil is set for it's second season on March 18th and Luke Cage's solo show later this year; The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal is handling the role of Punisher but not sure what capacity he'll have outside of Daredevil.

Oh, one last thing, these shows have all been grittier/darker than previous Marvel shows/movies; definitely not designed for the kiddos.

Dead of Night (1945)

Great movie. Pretty cutting edge for 1945. No camp or silliness, pretty straight forward creepiness.

"Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" - Great family fun! A feel-good zombie love fest. I love that the strip club was called "Lawrence of A labia". Fun, fun, fun.
