LMAO! Now I can't stop thinking about Tony Manero playing Dracula or the Count going to club Space Odyssey.

I agree, it's clear they were marketing the film toward the female demographic. They say as much on the xtras. Langella is the reason I've struggled w/this film in the past. But watching it the other night, I found some other redeeming aspects. I like the movie's sense of scale and atmosphere. I also like the vampire Mina and Lucy---simple, yet effective special effects.
Yeah, those all work well...then Vinnie Barbarino dances in.

Anyone else like this film?  Haven't watched it in many years, was always a fan of Jack Palance badguys and Old Dracula is the ultimate badguy.
Early scenes are a bit stiff and the scene where Van Helsing stakes one of Draculas wives and we see a mouthful of fillings lol.  But, Palance is an ferocious Dracula and puts his own spin on the character.  All in all not to bad, I believe it was originally made for TV, I think it was better watching it back then.

Just watched "The Ninth Guest" on YouTube. An "And Then There Were None" style plot and pretty good for these '30s murder mysteries.

Yeah I like this film. Blue-ray looks great I think.

Watched JUST IMAGINE on YouTube. I'd never seen it, before and wanted to see the METROPOLIS like future city SPFX. The rest of the movie was pretty loooong and boring and I >>FF through the awful songs. El (short for Elmer) Brendel is not the least bit funny and I'll bet almost anybody can do a better Swedish dialect.
