Terminator Salvation

This is the general consensus I've seen elsewhere too. I didn't hate Salvation as much as some did. I liked it better than 3 even though 3 had Arnold. I just couldn't buy Nick Stahl as John Conner. The movie would have succeeded much better with me If Edward Furlong had reprised his role as John Conner.

I have to agree with you about Stahl, but it didn't ruin the movie for me. I'm a sucker for all the onscreen destruction (not to mention the uber-hot Terminatrix). As for 1 & 2, I keep going back & forth. I think I prefer the no-nonsense, low budget rush of the first one. Though, those liquid metal, CGI effects were jaw-dropping the first time you saw them.

The Black Sleep (1956)

Really fun movie. Basil Rathbone and John Carradine give really good performances. Too bad the film under-utilizes Lon Chaney Jr. and Lugosi. Still cool flick though.

Terminator Genisys, or however they spell it.  And I was actually surprised.  I went in with very low expectations, and I liked the movie more than I thought I would.  I would rank it above all the Terminator sequels after 2.  They did some interesting stuff with the story.  The cameo appearance by one of the Dr. Who actors was a nice little touch.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

Independence Day (1996)- Still a horrible movie.

No argument here. You're a true patriot for sitting through it.
