"Frankenstein & the Monster From Hell" - I hadn't seen this in quite some time. I have to admit, it wasn't as good as I remember it.

The Monster Club~Fans of this one owe it to themselves to pick this up on Bluray.  The film looks as good as any modern day release.

The Brides of Dracula

Mord

"The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue" - one of the great late night scream flicks.

Green Lantern (3D)-For some reason this one gets a lot of crap but I enjoy it; sure it skips over a lot of Green Lantern Corps material but we couldn't really just have a superhero film that delves into just the Green Lantern Corps history and Hal's training.  I feel that if this film would have been given more of chance it really could have been a good (although stumbled) intro for the character and set up some great sequels; instead we are getting a reboot.  Unlike a lot of modern day fantasy/sci fi films this one didn't even hold up at the box office overseas only garnering $219,851,172 worldwide on a $200,000,000 budget.

This is yet another post converted 3D and it shows, only a few deep effects and even fewer pop outs.

I really feel this was intended to be (or at least hoped to be) the start of D.C.'s shared universe, the character of Amanda Waller (Angela Bassett) was introduced and could have been used as the "Phil Coulson" of these films.

300: Rise of an Empire (3D)~A fun film but not as impactful as the first one.  This is yet another post converted 3D although you'd hardly realize it; great depth and pop outs.  Eva Green is especially vicious here.

Fantastic Four (2005)~It's just a damn fun film!  Maybe they didn't exactly nail the Victor von Doom of the comics and the CGI leaves something to be desired but the film does capture a comic book feel.  Long before end credit scenes became the norm they actually set up a continuation for Doom right before the credits....although the impact is lessoned when the character returns in the film.  This one was probably hurt more (more critically than financially as the box office was hardly affected) by coming out on the heels of Batman Begins which took comic book films into another direction.

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer~Here again, it's just a fun film.  As with Victor von Doom they didn't exactly nail Galactus (They could have at least shown a glimpse of his familiar comic book form as a shape in the storm) and some of the CGI leaves something to be desired.  I also think they should have held of on having Doom return until a 3rd film (of course there wasn't one and probably wouldn't have been whether he was included or not) and focused more on Silver Surfer.  It's interesting to note Chris Evan's role as the brash-arrogant Johnny Storm as opposed to his humble-goody goody Captain America which came only 4 years after this Fantastic Four film.

Friday the 13th (2009)~Gave this one another shot.  I didn't really care for it when I saw it in theaters and now 6 years later...I still don't care for it.  There just isn't anything that stands out about it (except for some T&A).

I kinda liked it until I started watching the originals. There is definitely something missing from the remake (though I do appreciate the generous T&A). It's never been the greatest series, but it had it's moments (Part 2 was the best, IMO).

Friday the 13th Part II ranks at the top of my list as well!
