The Monolith Monsters (1957)
The Deadly Mantis (1957)

I'd never seen The Monolith Monsters before and I really enjoyed it.  The special effects were very impressive, the story moved at a good pace and even though the premise was a bit hokey, it was a very fun Saturday-afternoon-type 50s sci-fi movie.

I'd seen The Deadly Mantis before and my judgment now is the same as the initial viewing.  Fair.  Nothing spectacular, but still a nice little movie.

Memphremagog

Bluebeard(1944)
Phantom Of the Opera(1925)
Doctor Who: The Seeds Of Doom(1976)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

I completely agree with you. There's nothing scary about motionless rocks, but it somehow works here.
