Mord

"Cheap Thrills" - I watch this twisted little gem when I need a smile. Highly recommended.

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Count Dracula(1970)
Legend Of the Seven Golden Vampires(1974)
Werewolf Shadow(1971)
The Slime People(1963)
The Crawling Hand(1963)

Oasis Of The Zombies (1981)

This one catches heat for being a bit of a stinker, but it's pretty good when you watch it hosted by Dr. Lady on Kreepy Kastle TV with some Sam Adams Summer Ale and Tex Mex Trail Mix. I have a soft spot for Nazi Zombie Flicks with hot chicks anyhow. Good old Jess Franco...that dude really cranked 'em out.

BTW, saw Jib Jab again (with the Atomic Age Cinema gang) before the movie. Can I just say that Dr. Calamari is a GOD! Well...the bastard offspring of one anyway.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Went with groovy devil worshiping vampires theme:

Devil of Darkness (1965)
The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973)

Mord

Zombieland - in the mood for humor with my horror

Mord

Watched "The Last Showing" last night. It's a very low budget horror film with only 4 main actors (the biggest name is Robert Englund). It seemed to have been made by people who love & understand horror but couldn't translate that into a good film.

Most Horrible

Straight from the book "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt...One of the characters is named Boris...I kid you not.

Boris :"...You are like Night of the Zombie. What was that movie we liked? The black and white? Not Living Dead, but the poetry one-?"

Theo : "I Walked with a Zombie. Val Lewton."

"Do you like gin? It is my only weakness..."- Dr. Pretorius

Night of the Demons 2. Not as good as the first one and gets a little too campy the last 15-20 mins. Not a big fan of the wise cracking Angela either. My score 2/5.
Been going through Buffy the Vampire Slayer the last week or so. My wife owns the whole series. For the most part a fun show with some cool monsters.

Memphremagog

Brides Of Dracula(1960)
The Cat & the Canary(1927)
Tombs Of the Blind Dead(1972)
Sin City 2(2014)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

I definitely enjoyed Night of Demons II  over the first film. Both are my faves.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931) ...classic. March's performance, best of the era? Arguably so...

THE DEVIL COMMANDS (1941), arguably the best of Karloff's "mad doctor series" with Columbia Pictures.  Some genuine creepy moments in the film and pretty good special effects considering the budget for the film.
