I know right.  What happened to all the f-bombing like in his previous movie  ;)  I actually enjoyed the film.

Mord

You know, I loved the setting and the atmosphere, but the writing left me cold. I really wanted to like it. I'll try watching again this weekend.

I watched it the other night.  It's not that bad.   Rob Zombie describes it as "Ken Russell directing The Shining."  I got more of a Roman Polanski vibe.  It's not my favorite Zombie film, but it's at least worth a viewing.

"Star Trek Into Darkness"
Benedict Cumberbatch may be a great actor, but he was woefully miscast in this. The original rumors of Benicio del Toro and Antonio Banderas made more sense.

1944's "Return of the Vampire", with Bela. Quite a beginning to the film -- a young child is bitten by the vampire (!), and his werewolf sidekick speaks the King's English. Nice Universal-like sets by Columbia.
