Driller.Killer.......great.flick.

Yeah, It was pretty cool. I bought a horror hound magazine on exploitation films and They was talking about driller killer. I had it on one of my public domain box sets and thought i'd give it a shot. It was a pretty good film.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

THE CYCLOPS, the 1957 (?) Bert I. Gordon flick with Lon Chaney Jr and Gloria Talbott--on TCM today.  Its special fx are weak but the cyclops makeup is iconic '50s horror and I still get a kick out of it.  Originally saw it at the drive-in when I was a kid--my dad was great about taking me to see drive-in horror and sci-fi.

The Awakening (2011)~Saw the preview for this before another dvd and it looked pretty good!  Was happy to discover that it certainly was!  Most of it harkened back to films like The Haunting, The Innocents, The Others and although I know some complain about the ending both the wife and I found it enjoyable to the end!  Check it out!

RedKing

Son of Dracula 1943w on Sven
Lake Placid 1999
Lake Placid 2 (this was awful)\
The Thing 2012
The Thing 1982
Watched both things back to back with the new one first so it was like one long movie, they blend very well. The 2012 prequel really took pains to set up the Norwegian camp just as it was in the 1982 movie! I also watched the 1982 version on blu-ray, my first blu0ray I have, and it looks spectacular!
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!
