I actually enjoyed it. I loved how they sort of parodied how ridiculous the franchise had become and turned Freddy back into an evil, demonic character. Plus it was great seeing John Saxon again.
I enjoy Nightmare 1-4, 5 was alright, and yeah John Saxon IS one of my all-time favorite actors

The City of the Living Dead [1980] - excellent Fulci film, cool atmosphere and score/ the end of the film where It's in the basement of the graveyard and those zombies start walking around IS my all-time favorite sequence In the film/ the zombies are cool and the graveyards, plus the cold and sleepy way that the city and areas look IS awesome

- I'm going to be watching a marathon of The Howling and It's many sequels, and review them/ The last time I did the marathon was with the Hellraiser films/ I could only watch 1-5/ I couldn't watch anymore they were getting awful, [I watched clips from deader and hellworld tho and they were decent, the story to them were cool] so I'm going to for sure try to watch all of these

Just watched "Shadow of the Vampire" for the first time, a very clever film about the making of the silent classic "Nosferatu". The twist in this modern film from 2000 -- Max Schreck, the actor who played Nosferatu in the silent classic, is actually a real vampire who enjoys dining on the members of the film crew. Schreck is played by Willem Dafoe who deservedly received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for his bloody fine acting. If you haven't seen this gem, don't miss it!! Enjoy!

All 40 episodes of Godzilla the Series -the 1998/99 animated series based of the awful US Godzilla movie. The animated series however is FAR better than the crappy live action movie and features a second Godzilla that breathes radioactive fire and doen't run away from the military or other monsters.

Several dark Shadows and TZ episodes

Just finishing up season II "The Night Gallery" via Hulu. Such a good show and what a guest cast they usually came up with!

Terror Vision 1986 Fun tongue in cheek nonsense from Empire Pictures with some nice FX work by John Carl Buechler
The Amityvill Haunting 2011 lame Paranormal Activity style found footage take on the Amityville series.
In Search of Lovecraft 2008(?) Pretty good low low budget indie film about a small time TV reporter doing a Halloween fluff piece on Lovecraft and ending up running afoul of a very real Nyarlathotep and his cult
