THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (1951)
THE BLOB (1958)
CALTIKI, THE IMMORTAL MONSTER (1959)

The above 3 I saw on the big screen this past weekend at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA during BLOB-FEST.  And a great, fun time it was!

We're not to far from there ourselves and I always say, "Next year," but it never seems to happen.

Yesterday I watched THE BEAST FROM YUCCA FLATS.  That was the longest movie ever.  It felt like it was 10 years long.

Today, I have on Fulci's MANHATTAN BABY.  It's not so bad, but at one point the father in it has bandages over his eyes, but is still wearing his glasses.  I had to laugh at that.

I Honestly Think The Vhs Cut Version is Better Than The Mini Series. One of My Favorite Movies....My VHS Copy is a Big Box, I was very lucky to find it. I also have the mini series on dvd.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Chris and Rob, you would both love BLOB-FEST.  Two of my kids and myself have made it an annual tradition each July.  Always loads of fun!
