Indeed! At the time this came out, my little sister had a cat that looked JUST like the one in the movie!

The Night Stalker 1972-one of the best! i noticed the movie takes place in 1971 and one of the victims was found on my actual birthday-thursday May 20!

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Paranormal Activity 2~more of the first and yet somehow less of the first?!  Pretty much everything that happens in this happened in the first one and it even nullifies the fact that the couple (well at least the wife) in the first one acted like they didn't know what was going on?!?  Also what was the point of installing video cameras, besides using this footage in place of "shaky" hand held footage, when you aren't going to review the previous nights events more closely!?  I can't see why anyone that liked the first one (which I didn't) wouldn't have at least gotten some enjoyment out of this repetitive prequel/sequel.

!!SPOILER!!

The daughter sees the door close by itself but doesn't bother to rewind just a couple minutes more to see a mysterious shadow move from the basement door over to her!?!

Watched "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" for the first time in a LONG time yesterday. Enjoyed seeing Lugosi as Dracula again, but not a huge fan of Abbott and Costello.

Watched Captain America again, courtesy of Epix, I don't know what was wrong the first time I watched this?!  I was kind of letdown and found it rather lackluster; Luckily something finally clicked this time and I thoroughly enjoyed it and it has fueled my need to go see The Avengers!!

Race with the Devil [1975] - I got this film in the action-packed double feature with Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry at fye and it was worth it. I'm a big fan of Peter Fonda

Watched Shutter Island last night.  2 hours and 18 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity...

Phantom Stranger

"Q The Winged Serpent" (1982)
                                  _David Carradine

Plot: IMDB
New York police are bemused by a spate of reports of a giant flying lizard that has been spotted around the rooftops of New York, which they assume to be bogus until the lizard starts to eat people. An out-of-work, ex-con piano player is the only person who knows the location of the monster's nest and is determined to turn the knowledge to his advantage, but will his gamble pay off or will he end up as lizard food?

Phantom's Review: I remember seeing this film in theaters back in the early '80's and thinking what a piece of crap. Well thirty years have passed and I got to see it again recently and "what do you know" ......it's still a piece of crap. Terrible acting, even from good actors, average plot and the title monster is rarely seen. Perfect for a bad movie night.
