One of my favorite marathons! I love Lupita Tovar in the Spanish version (sorry General!)
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Dr.Teufel Geist

The 7....about highschool kids getting lost in a cave and killed off by a Chupacabra

Zombiology

Dracula's Daughter (1936)

Actually first time I saw it.  Liked how it picked up right after Dracula.  Holden was well cast.

Why oh why do I do it to myself?!

Watched Human Centipede 2.....well it was.....ummm....yeah!?  I think this would have worked much better if you'd have taken some of the clips of Laurence R. Harvey creepy ass and the violent stuff in the movie, edited it together, set it to some music from Tool and just made a trippy music video out of it.

I suppose it works on a level like Machete, Hobo With a Shotgun, Blood Sucking Freaks set in a completely unrealistic world.  Also to take the first film and emphasize how you made it 100% medically accurate (which I still question) but then turn around and make it a film within your new film is somewhat asinine to do to your fans that supported the film in the first place.  Nothing that happens in this film is even remotely realistic.....I mean when is a missing person considered a missing person in England, after a month or so?!  If serial killers worked like this guy we'd have a lot less unsolved cases and a lot less murders in the first place!  The whole thing plays out like some hellish episode of Life Goes On?!

I guess like The Woman, Serbian Film and Human Centipede it is worth a one time watch to see what the hype is about but that's about it!

Return of the living dead (1984)
Always a good flik! One from my early teen years and a definate influence in my lifelong love of horror movies. I have the collectors edition dvd and it has some pretty cool featurettes with it. Tarman is one of the best zombies ever.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Moonshadow

AVP (Alien vs. Predator) (2004): The creatures are cool and the battles are fun, if poorly filmed. Why do some directors get so close to the action that you can't tell what's going on? But otherwise, kind of just sits there.
