Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011-very good film I thought
From the Tales of Horror 100 movie Pack:
The Murder Mansion 1972
Death Rage 1976 not  horror movie but a neat Italian mafia/revenge flick with Yul Brynner nd Martin Balsam
Medusa 1973 weird crime/murder/psycho drama with George Hamilton (who was quite disturbing believe it or not), Cameron Mitchell(always great) and Lucianno Paluzzi
I Eat Your Skin 1964
Screm Bloody Murder 1975 disturbing psycho movie
Bell From Hell 1973
Revenge of Dr X 1970 rare Ed Wood scripted mad doctor movie filmed with english speking actors in Japan like the Manster
Nightmare In Wax 1969 Cameron Mitchell as a real wackjob wax museuim sculptor
The Alpha Incident 1977 low budget version of the ndromeda Strain from the director of the Giant Spider Invasion
A Bucket of Blood 1959 Corman classic
Horrors of Spider Island 1962 love this movie!
Legend of Bigfoot 1976 Ivan Marx "documentary" featuring Marx's "authentic" film of Bigfoot-actually just Marx and his wife in a cheap gorilla suit! Still entertaining though
The Devil's Hand 1962
I Bury the Living 1958 with Richard Boone who sounds just like Lon Jr
Drive-In Massacre 1974
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

"Zombies of Mora Tau" (1957) -Another Sam Katzman cheapo that had a few good moments but nearly turned me into a zombie as I watched. The zombies in this are of the old school voodoo style, so they aren't chomping on anyone. In fact, they tend to stumble around and are easily held off by the smallest flame -even a candle will work -and are about as terrifying looking as Otis the drunk on the Andy Griffith Show.  The lack of backgrounds in some scenes is painfully obvious and all in all, I can think of a lot better ways to spend my time. However, 50s bad girl Allison Hayes does her usual turn as a hot tramp, so it may have redeeming qualities for some of you.

RedKing - that's all you watched?  Dude, you're really slacking off!

Anyway, last night I watched:

THE MAN FROM PLANET X (1951) - Neat little film with some good suspense and atmosphere - greta foggy moors scenes.
THE WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS (1966-1970) - I watched the American release version.  Gonna watch the original version in a couple of weeks.

- The Black Room

-The Man They Could Not Hang

Both were part of the Boris Karloff box set my wife got me for Christmas. I never asked for it and she picked it out herself. So proud of her!

I liked both of these movies. TBR had Karloff playing twins in a tale of murder, torture and prophecy. TMTCNH was the first of his Mad Doctor films for Columbia. It was great to see him in that role.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

LOL yeah, i need to get watching more movies and quit slacking! By the way, the Japanese print for Gargantuas is signifigantly darker than the US print-it's hard to see what's going on sometimes, which is frustrting since the original version makes more sense (referencing Frankenstein) and has different (better) music in mny scenes.

I ended up watching so many movies because since the day after Christmas I have been caring for a little 2 week old puppy that was abandoned by her mama. Originally it was 2 but her brother didn't make it  :'(. They were very sick, but she is better now but needs to be bottle fed and burped like a human baby every 2 or 3 hours. She also like to be held, so I am pretty much hnging out in my bedroon with her all day watching movies and caring for this tiny baby-hard job but someone has to do it ;D
