Wicked Lester

Devil's Diary. 2007 Lifetime TV movie. Not bad for what it is.

When two friends, Dominique and Ursula, uncover an ancient book in a graveyard one night, they discover that the book has the supernatural power to grant any evil desire written within it. In a series of escalating acts of vengeance, Ursula harms/kills anyone who opposes her. Dominique realizes that the book fills all who possess it with the feeling of ultimate power. Seeking help from Father Mark Mulligan, a priest, and other people she knows, Dominique tries to destroy the book and save Ursula before it's too late. Unfortunately, cheerleaders Heather, who was one of the early victims and Georgia find out about the book's powers as well, and plan to use it against Ursula and Dominique. The book keeps going to the person who wants it for wicked things. You'll have to find out the rest on your own.

There are some plot flaws and continuity issues but still worth a view.
5.5 skulls.

Alligator (1981)

Formulaic but entertaining imagining of the urban legend of alligators being flushed down the toilet in the big city, only to emerge 15 years later as a mutated and enormous killing machine.

No surprises here, but a pretty well executed creature feature. I'm a sucker for giant mutated beasties anyway, so I enjoyed this one.

7 bananas.

Dave.........did color movies EVER look better than the era of the 50s-60s with the distinctive color processes they used back then?? I think not.

He seems cool CF, I'll look him up on FB. I like the setting of his show, a different view from the same castles and crypts.
