- DRACULA (1931)

My all time favorite...had to watch it on the snow day.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Piranha  also called Piranha, Piranha! (1972)....this was alright. Had nothing to do with piranhas though. All the movie is about a guy named piranha killing people to keep them  from telling that he is doing illegal hunting. By the title card you would think that it has something to do with piranhas.

I watched that last year. Got it in a Grindhouse box set. And like you said it was "ok" but I kept waiting for flesh eating fish. Pretty deceiving.

Ghost Ship (1943)... not really a horror film per se, but a nice Val Lewton flick.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Empire Of The Ants (1977)-Joan Collins

Atomic ants grow to the size of horses and eat their way through a group of real estate investors stuck on an island. A Bert I. Gordon flick without much of the usual Bert I. Gordon charm. Pretty run-of-the-mill stuff.  3 bananas

I've watched this one a few times. I like it just for that 70's feel cheapie movie and the slight cheese factor. I'd give it a 6/10.

Darkness- 2002. The first hour was a pretty decent slightly creepy haunted/evil house movie, then it got incredibly slow for awhile and BAM the intensity picked up. Unfortunately the very ending was LAME. Still worth a view. 6/10

Case 39- 2010. If you'd like evil kid pics you will like this. Yea it is kinda formulaic but goes places other movies of this genre have not. It does have a couple psychologically disturbing scenes. 7.5/10

Legend of Hell House- 1973.
Pretty decent haunted house movie. Not as creepy as The Haunting (of Hill House) but still pretty good. 6.5/10. I read the book Hell House back in maybe 6th grade at night and it gave me the creeps back then.

Magic Serpent 1966 very cool Japanese fantasy with ninja, samurai, magic and a battle between a dragon and giant toad. Made by Toei and released stateside by good old AIP-TV
Goliath and the Vampires-1961-one of the best Italian sword n sandal movies with Gordon (Tarzan) Scott as Goliath. I have a nice widescreen AIP print on a double feature dvd by Wild East Productions.
Monster From a Prehistoric Planet 1967-The giant griffen like Gappas tear Japan up looking for their stolen baby. Another one released by AIP.
Shreik In the Night 1933-cool murder mystery with some horro/sci-fi overtones and a very young and cute Ginger Rogers.
Last Woman On Earth 1960-Roger Corman's end of the world movie is really a character study/morality play about 2 men and 1 woman. I enjoyed it.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

Dawn of the Dead (2004)...a good remake, what a concept!

The Omega Man (1971)...good stuff, one of my first movies iirc

Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968)...heavenly bodies, good acting, Chistopher Lee. Must be Hammer!

The Mask (1994)...good fun, a high point for both Carrey and Diaz
