This morning I watched Creature From The Black Lagoon.  Now I'm watching The Bride Frankenstein.

This has been great watching all of these movies lately.  I hate that I have to go back to work now.
Just remember. There are such things.

Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island

Well, technically my Daughter is watching the movie, but I'm with her and ,,well it's a fun movie and it is Scooby-Doo and uhh...Okay Dammit, I love Scooby Doo too! And I'm enjoying the film just as much as she is. There, I feel much better now

Confession is good for the soul my child. Now, for your penance, I will require all of your horror dvds sent to my P.O box.
We're all here because we're not all there.

Watched The Thaw last night on on-demand (the free stuff). I just didn't feel like doing anything else (migraine day). I'd never even heard of this one. Val Kilmer must have needed some cash. Pretty lame but en effective way to blow a couple of hours.

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but it IS the last horror film I watched.  The Bela Lugosi DRACULA was on AMC last night, and I set my alarm to watch it.  It was most upsetting.  Not Bela...he's "family".  What was upsetting was that the "ooky" "Swan Lake" score had been removed, and the ENTIRE film had a new, and ultra strange score buzzing in the background.  Scenes that should have been silent...such as Bela's walking through the web without breaking it...music.  The opera scene...no more Wagner, more buzzing strings.  The dialog between Van Helsing and Dracula....more buzzing.  The whole film sounded like a beehive on crack.

To have the beautiful Lugosi voice supplanted by a constant, weird buzz was an insult...at least to me.

God KNOWS what Universal might allow people to do to their other classics....

- The Legacy Reborn: Count Gore's Creature Feature

The second new DVD with footage from '84-'87.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

The Creeper

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Dracula  (Bela on AMC.)

The Witches Mountain   (What a stinker!  That was a hour and a half wasted!)

The Fourth Encounter    (Based on true events and they show you actual film footage that was taken.  It was a very good movie in my opinion!  It is about alien abductions.)
Long live the UMA!

Vincent Price in Fall of the House of Usher  Followed by Bucket of Blood.

Hollywood Video has closed all its stores in Spokanistan.  And did they ever have a sale!  A few years ago when they discontinued VHS, I picked up several dozen titles for a buck apiece.

Then when they closed my local store, everything went on sale.  During the last week they were open, rental DVDs were going at 12 for $10.00.  For some reason, horror flicks (especially Hammer and American International) were not selling well - - until I got there.  Thirty bucks later, I am set up with what could be a lethal overdose of 50's and 60's horror movies!

Vegas HOLLYWOOD VIDEO stores as well. But, there weren't any awesome sales.

2 movies that I cannot recall the titles to:  One where a woman was hanged 150 years ago and her spirit now terrorizes New Englanders and another about a man being kept in some house under voodoo spells... both are contemporary.
