Finished up the Dusk til Dawn trilogy. #1 rocks big time, seen it prob a dozen times.. #2 was ok. Seen it once before. #3 was better than 2 and I had not seen it before. The vampires are over the top wicked looking even though they don't show up for almost an hour. Prob liked 3 better than 2 because it reminded me of some of the lower budget westerns of the 70's. Not quite "spaghetti style" but very similar IMO.

I finally picked up a copy of "The Call of Chthulu" and watched it this morning. It's one of the very few films based on a Lovecraft story that's actually watchable ;)

So sorry I didn't write sooner. LSJtoD is absolutely an unusual film, and can be confusing at times.
Which by the way, isn't a bad thing. I recommend watching the movie at least two times. Definitely a
slow movie. But, atmospheric and creepy. I'm still baffled by the ending. Which I won't give away to ya. Maybe
I missed something? It wasn't a complicated plot, just some discrepancies. Gosh I really
want to talk about this movie.....But, I will wait for you to see the film first. Please, check it out.
I picked up a copy at Best Buy, for under ten dollars.

                                                                                     p.s.
                                                                                             70's Horror flix do rock!!!
...
The Texas ChainSaw Massacre, Invasion of the Blood Farmers

Mars, this is my favorite genre............70s horror. We need to trade reviews!! For one, pick up "PIGS". Classic Drive-In fare. Woman murders her father after years of sexual abuse and gets sent to a mental institution. She escapes and winds up in some little one horse town and gets back to her murderous ways, protected by a pig farmer who steals corpses to feed his pigs. Well, guess who becomes his main supplier of human pigfeed after some local men start harassing her??

Pure 70s schlock!! Have you seen it?? I loved it!
We're all here because we're not all there.
