Il fantasma dell'opera (Phantom of the Opera) directed by Dario Argento and starring Asia Argento as Christine.

Beware - stay away if you know what's good for you. I was sorely disappointed. Decent gore and death scenes but the acting was absolutely terrible, and it was a completely bizarre take on the story (Gaston should have not even been credited, it was nothing like his wonderful book). I tired just enjoying the death scenes but it was, overall, unbearable.

I got that for xmas and was pleasantly surprised that David Warner was in it. Of course, I love Martin and Turner.

- House of the Devil (a cool tribute to late 70's/early 80's horror, starting with the opening title card onscreen)

- Rise: Blood Hunter (a different take on vampires with nods to Blade and The Hunger with Lucy Lui and Micheal Chiklis)
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Just watched "Queen of Blood" 1966, also known as "Planet of Blood".
Starring John Saxon, Basil Rathbone, and a very young Dennis Hopper.
Poorly made movie and plot, but Florence Marly made a cool Alien Vampire Queen.
