I just watched THE WOLF MAN last night.. always good. I had forgotten in this firt film, there is never a transformation scene, from Larry Talbot to Wolf. Only after he is killed, does he go from Wolf man back to man.

Errr, what about the scene in which Larry is tied to a chair, slowly transforms using stop-motion photography, and breaks from from his ropes as THE WOLF MAN?

Transformers 2 and G.I.Joe - I guess they qualify as Sci-Fi.  Both suffered in the special effects and writing departments, but if I was a 8-15 year old, hooked on cartoons, I think they would have been awesome.
