The Day the Earth Stood Still----remake with Keanu Reeves

At the end, there was no address to the world.  They just left after indicating to Jennifer Connelly and some orphaned kid that they understood that 'people can change' when at the verge of self-destruction.

The also left shortly after a military assault, which was likely falsely credited with 'chasing away the bad aliens'...

What are the chances in this version that people changed their ways on Earth?  The front pages probably read 'Army Destroys Aliens'.

Most disappointing ending.

Komodo VS Cobra  (Michael Pare)

A ridiculously poorly acted abomination

I watched "Monsters Vs Aliens" tonight. It's a goofy movie, but I can't hate any film that contains so many homages to 50's sci-fi/horror films.

Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black. Haven't seen this in at least 10 years and still remember some of the dialogue. Pretty cool.

Frailty - Enjoyed it very much. Normally not a McConaughey fan. But he was good in this movie.

I've seen that or 4 or 5 times on DVD and always find it a bit disturbing. Which is probly why I've seen it 4 or 5 times. ;)
