You may want to check out the Vampire series of books by David Wellington. The first book is 13 Bullets, currently reading. It is 30 days on total steroids. 7' Vampires with a mouth of teeth like a shark that can regenerate it's body after getting shot 20X by SWAT guys. Check it out.
