A friend of mine recently gave me a shopping bag full of VHS tapes he converted to DVDs. So far I've watched "Monster From Green Hell", "Quatermass 2" (Enemy From Space), "Voodoo Woman" and the Mystery Science Theatre version of Roger Corman's "The Undead". There are many more to go.
I found Quatermass 2 to be extremely enjoyable.

Last night I viewed the original Japanese GOJIRA for the firstime. In this case, the Raymond Burr version most of us grew up with is a huge disservice. Destroy All Monsters will always be my favorite kaiju film, but this original Gojira was the darkest, most effective monster movie I've seen in recent years, a true classic holding it's own among the like of Metropolis, the original Kong, Frankenstein, etc. I love the Toho universe, but I don't think they've ever produced another film with this impact.
