Yesterday I watched Son of Kong and on Saturday I watched Plan 9 from Outer Space

The Plan 9 DVD is from '94 and has bonus features that include a clip of Lugosi leaving the hospital after his addiction treatment.  I watched the clip before the movie and it made for a wistful experience.  To see him talking with confidence to the reporter (who kept interrupting him >:() and then see him posing in those few brief Plan 9 scenes in which he appears is sad.

There's one part in the interview where he says something to the effect that he married a woman 30 years younger and she didn't want to be saddled with an old man.
They're going to make you one of them, my peacock!

Yeah, the amount of commercials was ridiculous.

Yeah, the amount of commercials was ridiculous.

Hence the demise of AMC (and that they play the same two or three movies multiple times each day).

This was a Zombie night for me and Karen, we watched " Children shouldn't play with dead things" and " Night of the Living Dead".

Strangely, I watched "I Walked With a Zombie" tonight. Must be zombie season ;)

I found that interview pretty sad as well. A shame.
We're all here because we're not all there.
