"Sleepy Hollow" -- what great atmosphere in that classic Tim Burton masterpiece!

It's a great film and I like it even more because it's a serious-modern horror film that I can watch with the kids, which doesn't happen all that much nowadays!

Yes it's a great film, but to watch with the kids? With all those decapitations and blood? Are we talking about the same Tim Burton movie?

Yep, sure are!!  My girls don't shy away from a little bit of the red stuff and they've seen.....what some people would call worse than that; Halloween, Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Ginger Snaps, Land of the Dead to name a few!!

"Trick 'r Treat" -- just watched this hidden gem for the first time. If you love the atmosphere of the Halloween season (is there anyone in UMA who doesn't?!!), you must see this wonderfully-crafted weaving of four horror stories mixed together on All Hallows Eve. A nice spooky film with a fine performance by Brian Cox!!

Dr. Mortose

I just watched Sweeny Todd. A few hours earlier: The Woman In Black.

I have heard so many mixed reviews on Sweeny Todd. Was it good?
