Halloweentown (1998) - excellent kid's halloween movie
Idle Hands (1999) - pretty good stoner horror movie
The Cabin in the Woods (2012)- I really don't know why everyone hated this movie. it was one of the most original ideas I've seen in a long time. The Special Effects are top of the line for a newer horror movie. I recommend this movie.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Scream 4~Not the best of the series but was an interesting idea/concept using the current remake trend and twisting it into the series!  Worth a watch for fans of the previous entries.

Frankenweenie IN 3D [2012] - I really liked it, I liked how it was black and white, and really liked the suburban neighborhood and how it looked like the 1950s - Sparky the dog was awesome as well as Victor - A few of my other favorite characters were Mr Rzykruski who was the science teacher and was done by one of my favorite actors, Martin Landau and was built to look like Vincent Price, it may or may not have been, but he sure did look like him, which was awesome, and I also liked Toshiaki who was the smart Asian kid as well as Nassor who sorta was built after Frankenstein, and Edgar was funny and cool too - I liked alot of the strange stuff no one probably saw like all the equipment Victor had, the electricity running around the attic, the toy robot on the table and the poster of the Saturn V rocket - A lot of the cemetery, night time, and rainy/stormy/fog weather parts were great - I liked the film projector with the reels, and the fact that Victor's parents were watching stuff on film- The storyline was cool and the monsters at the end were great, as well as the invisible fish - A really good family film which appeals to monster movie fans as well -  I really like the 1950s black and white suburban neighborhood and all of the 1950s type of cars, and even the small stuff like the guy trimming his hedges lol and Sparky the dog was awesome, he was great - some parts of the film were sad, but the film has great stuff in it and I think it was really good

9 out of 10

btw, I have to say my favorite character overall was Sparky the dog, he was awesome
Also, I watched the film in 3D and it was excellent, lots of great animations and cityscapes, also a cool moment in the film when Victor, his parents, and Sparky watch a low budget home made movie starring Sparky that Victor made in 3D, he had some cool tactics and special FX for the short film, and Sparky was funny and a great actor in the film lol

Frankenweenie was good in 3D, I enjoyed the 3D experience a lot

Return of the Vampire-I've always liked this one but admitedly it has been awhile since I'd watched it.  Still holds up and is just an all around good flick!  Favorite part is that they actually got the vampire's reflection right; You actually see his clothes in the mirror!!
