Robocop-With the talk of the reboot I decided to revisit this one!  I still have my pan n scan from 1987 but I got to watch it in widescreen thanks to Netflix Instant; Though dated, it still holds up  The only effect that doesn't hold up is the same one that looked ridiculous back in the day, at the end when the guy falls out of the window the arms on the puppet are way to long!  This film was more than just an action flick and is loaded with commentary on tons of social issues, many of which are still (if not more so) relevent today!

Queen of Blood-Maybe I was just super tired today but I fell asleep, somewhere after a second crew (John Saxon was one of them) of space explorers was sent out and then woke up as the queen had met her fate.  Maybe I'll give this one another try someday but if I dose off again I'll just assume it's the movie doing it to me!

- Dog Soldiers

From the opening scene to Spoon's hand to hand fighting, I always enjoy watching this movie.

How about at the end when Sarge says he's "a PROFESSIONAL... SOLDIER"...how tough was that?
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Phantom Stranger

"Plan 9 From Outer Space" (1959)
-Vampira, Tor Johnson, Bela Lugosi (kinda)

Plot: IMDB
Aliens resurrect dead humans as zombies and vampires to stop human kind from creating the Solaranite (a sort of sun-driven bomb).

Phantom's Review: It's been years since I last saw this "classic" and it hasn't improved any. Still hysterically bad and Totally amateur. The best of the worst.
