Very cool movie.

however...
Sound of Thunder.  Not a keeper.  Electric sparks flying everywhere so what do the Dr.s and PhDs do?  Jump in the water of course!!

Wicked Lester

I'm willing to bet that almost no one has even heard of this one.
DESPISER-2002
This movie was made in a small warehouse on a low budget using mostly blue screen/CG effects. Yea the graphics are dated but this had a decent storyline and was fun to watch.

Attack of the Galactic Monsters - no idea where this came from but someone edited the Toho 1977 movie War in space and added footage of Godzilla battling monsters as well footage of the aliens and various destruction footage from Toho's 1973 TV show Zone Fighter. It's actualy very well done. I down;oaded it from the Prelinger movie archives last year but it's gone now-Toho objected no doubt!
Cinema Insomnia's version of Star Crash (again)

Finally watched super 8, i enjoyed it. Especially the monster toys and models, even though a few of the toys used in the movie had not been made yet in 1979.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Chillerama!  Read about this one in Horrorhound and had heard some other buzz about it.  Finally finished watching it last night (It's not really a long flick but it's not for the kiddies so I had to watch it in installments whenever the girls weren't around.); Right from the get go you can see that this one is firmly wallowing in the gutter but I had already heard that going into it so no biggie!  All in all not a waste of time but I wouldn't recommend a purchase, no matter the price!  There are enough good bad films without having to rewatch a bad decent film.  Will go 3 outta 5 wads!

!Spoiler Alert-Spoiler Alert!

Wadzilla:  Thought it was really well done fit very nicely into the whole giant monster genre, the concept possibly being, "Just what the hell are we going to grow into a monster this time?".  This may also be the only time I've really felt queasy during a horror film, just something about a huge slimy sperm flopping around, though it was more grotesque when it was the size of a small dog than it was when it was the size of a great white or blue whale.

I Was a Teenage Wearbear:  Once again I thought this one was decent as well.  I dunno maybe those that don't get it just haven't seen a lot of 60's flicks?  From Frankie and Annette to Bloodfeast to Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! I thought it was all pretty much there....wait they did miss a good opportunity for a car race!!  But other than that it was all there.

Diary of Anne Frankenstein:  Not sure why everyone is going gaga over this segment?!  I definitely don't think it was the best of the bunch, not by a long shot.  I thought it was like watching a Saturday Night Live sketch that not only doesn't go anywhere but it takes a long time getting there!  Great concept; Anne Frank is actually a descendant of the Frankenstein family, but it just doesn't do anything with the material.

Zom B Movie:  This wrap around segment was another decent entry.  Favorite part (Probably of the whole movie!) was Richard Riehle spouting off all those classic movie lines!!  I know they were going for B-movie cheeziness but I wish they would have done some cool f/x for this segment though it all makes sense at the end of the film!

For me Wadzilla, I Was a Teenage Wearbear and Zom B Movie make a perfect trifecta, they all take shots at the cheeziness of the genre but don't cross that self parody line themselves; Which to me was the fatal flaw with Diary of Anne Frankenstein.  The short just tries to hard to be funny, it was more a parody of Young Frankenstein than it was of classic z-grade flicks in my opinion.  Sex is obviously the key theme to the first two stories as well as the wraparound segment which is another reason why Diary of Anne Frankenstein seems out of place, an Ilsa She Wolf of the SS theme would have worked much better for this story in my humble opinion.  There was also a subtly (I know doesn't seem like that word and this film go together!) about Wadzilla, Wearbear and Zom B movie that was missing from Diary, anyone of them could have been Mystery Science Theater entries and the audience could laugh at them; Where as Diary winks at you!
