"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

- The Walking Dead

I liked the new season opener. Didn't expect that ending.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Sean

Memphremagog

Dr.Jekyll & Sister Hyde(1971)
I Know What You Did Last Summer(1997)
The Devil and Daniel Webster(1941)
Blair Witch II: Book Of Shadows(2000)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

RedKing

Cope (2006 another of those indie horror films from Mill Creek/pendelum Pictures. this one didn't make much sense but was interesting)
I Dream of Dracula (2004 next movie on the disc with Cope. this one was a tongue in cheek film about a girl who has recurring nightmares about being a vampire. pretty funny both intentionally and not and lots of nudity)
28 days Later 92003)
28 Weeks Later (2007)
Son of Godzilla (1967)
Crucible of Horror (1971 Michael Gough)
Double Exposure (1983-murder mystery with some blood and lots of boobs)
Horror Rises From the Tomb (1972 Paul Naschy-edited TV version)
Dungeon of Harrow (1962)
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

I know......wow!
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Phantom Stranger

"Dead Men Walk" (1943)
                        -George Zucco, Dwight Frye

Plot: IMDB
The twin of a kindly small-town physician returns from the grave  as a vampire for vengeance against his brother, who secretly killed him because the twin served Satan.

Phantom's Review: Very low budget attempt to replicate Universals style of film. George Zucco does a credible job as both brothers and Dwight Frye basically redoes his "Reinfield" character. Other than that, this film has very little to offer.

Horror of Dracula(1958) oh my, my! This film is a true HAMMER classic. Terence Fisher was an amazing director. As well as Christopher
Lee's and Peter Cushings, fantasic performance on screen. Brilliant film, filled with suspence, acting, vivid colors....etc.
Horror of Dracula, still holds up as a grand film.

- Horror of Dracula (like mars said, this still holds up. The scene when Lee is choking Harker, Lee's facial expression is vicious)

- House on Haunted Hill (It's so much fun watching Price in this one)

Wassup mars and Sean!
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Memphremagog

Ghosts Of Edendale(2004)
Night Of the Livjng Dead(1990)
Dr.Renault's Secret(1942)
Mark Of the Vampire(1935)
Doctor Who: The Unquiet Dead(2005)
Re-Animator(1985)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

BaronLatos35

- The Wolfman (2009)

- Bram Stoker's Dracula

I like both of these modern takes on these monsters, although Drac turned a bit soft. I loved when Oldman was standing at the window before he killed Lucy. He went from the suave Count, to the old man with fangs and long hair to a wolf while saying some great creepy lines.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

The Sentinel (1977) because theres nothing on amc fearfest 2011. Is it just me or Is AMC fearfest awful this year. It seems like all they play is the new George A Romero movies and new zombie movies. There is no classics, none what so ever.Times like this I wish I had TCM around halloween. Hopefully AMC fearfest 2011 will get better. But I doubt it will!
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Phantom Stranger

"Cry Of The Werewolf" (1944)

Plot: IMDB
Young woman raised by gypsies is actually daughter of a werewolf. She starts killing those who know about her.

Phantom's Review: Dull, horribly acted attempt at a werewolf film. The lead actor has the acting range of a wet towel. The transformation scenes are done off camera  and the "Werewolf" is pretty much just a big dog. Truly lousy.

Wait. You're not going to watch Flight of the living dead? Urgh.... Remember when they didn't show SyFy channel type movies during fear fest.
