Shock Waves (1977)

Who isn't creeped out by nazi zombies who chill out underwater, a very cool flick

The Crazies (2010)

Oliphant good as Sheriff, better than most newer horror flicks

- The Phantom Planet w/Count Gore (better than expected. Cheesy 60's sci-fi, but fun to watch)

- Night of the Living Dead on Dr. Destruction's Crimson Theatre (I love this dude's show. I have only seen a few of them and I own a couple. If anybody has some more of the good Dr. and willing to trade, send me a PM. I'll send you a list of what I have availble to trade Horror Host wise)

Overall, a great late Saturday Night Craeture Double feature.

Took in "It Came From Outer Space" this afternoon. Classic sci fi, almost felt like an Outer Limits or Twilight Zone episode, with the aliens just wanting to get off the planet and not all that interested in humanity! It had the paranoia of a lot of 50s flicks though, what with the aliens kidnapping people and then taking their appearance, so they could move amongst the town people. A fun film.

Texas Chainsaw A New Beginning. It was ok. Not near as atmospheric as the original. Then again scenes that made us go WTF 30 something years ago are pretty common now. I'd give it 5/10 skulls.

Wrong Turn 2. Another "ok" movie. Mutant inbred cannibals. Prob would have been better if I wasn't watching it on SyFy with all the damn commercials. Also 5/10 skulls.

Food of the Gods 2-Gnaw. Giant rats. Had it's moments. I really hate vivisection but the A-holes ended up pay. A fair amount of unexplained plot flaws and the ending was humorous. 5.5/10 skulls.

Evil Dead II (1987)
Werewolf of Washington (1973)
Hellraiser III (1992)
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Phantom Stranger

The Killer Shrews (1959)
Plot: IMDB

On an isolated island, a small group of people are terrorized by giant voracious shrews in the midst of a hurricane.

Phantom's Review: A.K.A....Dogs In Wigs.
Hysterically funny, low budget monster movie.
Bad FX, over acting and a barely there plot..in other words..IT"S GREAT!!
If you love those silly 1950's movies( like I do) this one is for you

And Festus is in it!  And I believe he was involved in production, also!
