Shutter Island

Did you enjoy this one?

MMMMMMM, hard to describe, but I think it is definitely worth 1 viewing. I wanted to like it much more but it just didn't cut it for me.

I am hopeful....but cautious.  I may be expecting too much.

You know what it is, after seeing so many movies you want something new and refreshing. I felt I've seen this before in other movies. Let me know what you think after you see it. Sometimes when I revisit a movie, I appreciate it much much more.

The Funhouse (1981) -- Really good movie. Highly recommend
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

War-Gods Of the Deep(1965)
Legion(2009)

AWESOME line-up!! But not so much, Cloverfield. I did not like the 1st person or camera angle (or what ever you call it).

 Séance(2006) R

Dorm life comes with a twist for coed Lauren (Kandis Erickson) and her roommate: The mischievous ghost of a little girl haunts their room. But their decision to hold an impromptu séance to get rid of the spirit only serves to awaken a far more malevolent presence. Now, the ghost of a demented killer stalks the halls determined to continue his murderous work. Director Mark L. Smith also penned the script for this chilling slasher flick.

Meh.........pretty standard, forgettable fare. No real scares, the entity is a rather bland dude with all the menace of a ham sandwich, and it just left zero impression. Not hated, not recommended. It just isn't substantial enough to stir ANY emotion, frankly.
We're all here because we're not all there.
